Our Model for Change

Utilizing the Trans Theoretical Model (TTM), also referred time as the Stages of Change Model, Directing Paths, LLC utilizes the concept of intentional change in individuals. The TTM operates on the assumption that people do not change behaviors quickly and decisively but rather continuously through a cyclical process. The model first created by Prochaska and DiClemente in the late 1970s proposed that change is not linear but cyclical and we are all in different phases of change at any given time. The TTM is not a theory but a model; different behavioral theories and constructs can be applied to various stages of the model where they may be most effective. Through the utilization of this model, our mission is to provide the tools and resources necessary to facilitate positive change by fostering a safe environment that allows for accountability, goal setting and customized coaching plans.

Is your team in need of mindfulness exercises or looking for ways to foster a safe and productive environment? Our 6 week group coaching program is great for corporate settings and include topics such as, conflict/resolution, mindfulness and stress management. Group coaching is great for in-services and length of time may vary based on group needs. Coaching includes 30-min consultation prior to service, weekly check-ins, and goal setting.

Our 8 week individual coaching program can take place either in person or online and includes an initial consultation, weekly check-ins, and goal setting with a focus on decision making, goal setting, boundary setting and behavior change maintenance.

Utilizing the TedTalk format, our 45-minute informational seminars focus on health and wellness topics followed by a brief Q&A and evaluation. An initial consultation is required to ensure topics are relevant to the intended audience.
